Developed by Adobe Systems Incorporated, Adobe Audition CC is a powerful audio processing tool capable of creating various, numerous, and qualitative audio content. It provides the user with the means to mix, record, and restore audio content, and therefore to deliver a top-notch product.
It comes wrapped in a complex and nice crafted interface that has numerous themes to choose from, a well-chosen contrast interface and a very detailed construction of the main window. For a novice user, the interface may seem too complicated, but the program has a Help tab where you can find tutorials and many other helpful materials.
The only con of the interface is the fact that some button icons seem too small.
Adjacent to the basic features mentioned in the beginning, with Audition you can create a podcast, rearrange songs duration or fix audios, thanks to a spectral display, a diagnostics panel or the effects tab. More, it offers real-time clip stretching, and powerful effects, such as Graphic Shifter, Doppler Shifter, Notch Filter, and VST3 support.
Other features worth mentioning are multitrack mixing, batch processing, pitch correction, automatic speech alignment, adaptive noise reduction, HD video playback or plug-in delay compensation.
In conclusion, Adobe Audition is a great addition to the audio-software market, one that comes equipped with various editing tools, has an attractive design, but which seems best-suited for a professional user rather than a weekend user, mostly because of the product complex features and high price.
